Simon Dean

Simon

A motor vehicle technician since 1983 and have attained ONC qualification in motor vehicle service & repair and a HNC qualification in motor vehicle management.

A Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry (MIMI) and a certified automotive engineer.

With more than 28 years experience on a wide range of vehicles I am our in house French Citroen/Peugeot vehicle specialist.

I have attended a significant number of  manufacturer courses and automotive courses with Bosch-Delphi-Frank Massey.

A specialist in all the electronic diagnosis and repair work.

Attained ATA Master Technician in  2010.


Terry Barlow

Terry

With more than 31 years experience within the retail motor industry, the majority of this time has been spent diagnosing and repairing Fiat vehicles.

He is a qualified vehicle technician and has completed many manufacturer courses. More recently he has attended many courses to refresh and supplement his knowledge and to ensure that he is up to date with modern vehicle technology.

Terry has a first fix ethos and strives very hard to achieve correct diagnosis and repair of all vehicle faults that are presented to him. He has also had ten years experience of Citroen vehicles whilst working for the company.

Terry is our 'Fiat Specialist' and his knowledge and experience of this vehicle brand is unsurpassed!!

He also looks after many of the Light Commercial Vehicles and Motor Homes we see regularly.

Terry is also our in house "Air Conditioning Specialist"; he has attended air-con courses and is qualified in the handling of refrigerants and qualified up to the 'F' Gas regulations for air con service and repair.

Mandy Barlow

Mandy

Mandy is our "Service Advisor" and looks after our customers from initial contact, through booking your vehicle in with us to the collection of your vehicle. Mandy ensures everything is carried out to your specification and satisfaction.

Mandy has a vast experience in a customer facing environment, including customer liaison and customer service within the motor trade industry.

Your first contact either by telephone, email or in person is guaranteed to be a welcoming and a professional one. mandy@simon-dean.co.uk

In line with our ATA Qualification progress Mandy will be completing the ATA Service Advisor course early in 2011.


Ashley Shaw

Ashley

Ashley is our youngest qualified vehicle technician with 4 years experience, he continues to gain experience under the guidance of both Simon and Terry by working on a broad range of vehicles and systems.

He is also attending various courses to enhance his skill set.

Ashley has a good understanding and desire to test and not guess. He is currently focusing on scope testing and modern diesel technology.
